How to Make a Crocheted Rose
CH = Chain
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
TC = Triple Crochet
Leave a tail about 10 inches long, then CH 36. In 2nd CH from end, 1 DC, 1 TC, 1 DC, 1 HDC. This is your first petal. *Skip 1 CH stitch, in next CH stitch, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 1 TC, 1 DC, 1 HDC. Repeat from * to the end of the chain. Leave a tail about 10 inches long and cut off.
Fashion into the shape of a rose and use the long tails on either end to slide through each layer of the flower to the center and back to the outside so that the flower retains its shape.
Use the remaining tail to fasten the label to the rose. Personally, I like to have my labels laminated, but that is a personal preference and not required.
